What is Medical Outlook?

Medical Outlook is a revolutionary new concept in Secure Healthcare Professional-to-Professional electronic communication. Is it email?  Yes and No.  While you can certainly use Medical Outlook to send simple messages, it is capable of much, much more.  It was designed specifically to allow healthcare professionals to structure their electronic messages (we call them packages) just like a patient's medical chart.  Unlike regular email you don't just "Attach" things to your messages, you add them to your Medical Outlook package in an intelligent order and hierarchy that makes sense.  With the ability to add rich individual annotations to each item giving it the proper context as it applies to the whole "package" of information that you're sending.

What is SINEpost Mail?

SINEpost Mail is a "book-end" product seamlessly integrated with Medical Outlook.  Where Medical Outlook concentrates on professional-to-professional communications, SINEpost Mail effectively solves the professional-to-patient communications problem.

It allows our Secure Patient Information Network (SPIN) members to communicate with their patients via a secure web-based email application.  Absolutely no setup is required to send messages to patients. No registering of new patients, no creation of patient accounts on a web-site, no special software required for the patient (just a web-browser and an internet connection).  You just type in their email address and your message content and click send, SINEpost handles all the rest.  The patient receives a plain text email stating that you have sent them a SINEpost Mail message and giving them simple instructions and hyperlinks for them to log in and open their mail.

If the patient has never received any SINEpost Mail before, their account is automatically created for them, all they have to do is enter their name, choose a password and log in.
