Screened Mail |

When you receive packages from another company for the first time, the SPIN data server automatically creates a relationship between your company and their company AND between you and their company and sets that relationship as 'Screened'. This means that you will first be notified that you have received new mail that is screened and allow you to make the decision (based on who is sending it) as to whether you wish to accept it or not.
If you have screened mail, the 'Manage your relationships with other companies' window will come up, asking that you either change the companies status to either 'Allow' or 'Do Not Allow'. If you are an 'Administrator' user you can also set the relationship for every user in your company (global relationship) to either Allow or Do Not Allow. If you block another company from sending you mail, any mail currently waiting on the server becomes effectively 'invisible' to you and that company will not be permitted to include you in their recipients list when sending Medical Outlook Packages.
<<Your Name>>
You have new mail from 1 or more organizations whose mail to you is 'screened'. This is completely normal and happens every time you receive mail from another company for the first time. When this window closes you will be taken to a window which will let you establish whether you wish to 'Allow' those companies to send you packages or block them permanently. If you are a system administrator you can block all messages from a company as well. You should handle this before you send/receive packages again.
You have 1 package(s) waiting on the HermeTech secure data server for you to download that are from companies awaiting your authorization. These package(s) have been sent to you by Medical Outlook network member(s) with whom you have not established your (or your companies) relationship yet.
What does this mean?
At HermeTech we try and protect our members as much as possible from unsolicited or unscrupulous individuals who try and gain membership to the Medical Outlook network for the sole purpose of sending unsolicited or 'SPAM' type messages. While it is rare, and our verification process is thorough, it is possible that you may receive some unsolicited mail. If you do, please follow the instructions in the Manage Relationships window to BLOCK these unwanted companies and report them to National Customer Service immediately. We will not tolerate spamming of any kind within the Medical Outlook network nor will we allow our members to be harrassed by these unwanted messages.
Thank you for your help in keeping the Medical Outlook network free of SPAM.
Regards,
The HermeTech Team
