In this section of the system settings screen you can create a list of chart items you would like to use when creating packages. This section is not required and it's only purpose is to populate a list of Item Types to be used when creating Medical Outlook Packages (see below for further).

Click the 'Add Chart Item' button to add a chart item. Click an item in the list to select it and click 'Delete Selected' to remove a chart item from the list.

When you are creating a complex Medical Outlook package by adding items, one of the things that you do is give each item in your package a name. The chart items list provides the DEFAULT values in that list (you can always type in whatever you like). See also: Creating Complex Packages
