Open User Maintenance by clicking the 'My Info' button on the toolbar in the Medical Outlook main window.  From this window administrators can create new user accounts.

 

 

A Note About User Accounts

The most basic membership in the Medical Outlook network gives you the ability to have up to 3 concurrently active user accounts.  Other memberships are available at different levels which allow more user accounts. Additional user account licenses can be purchased for nominal additional costs by logging into your web account and following the instructions to change your companies membership level.  You can create as many users (logon IDs) as you would like but ONLY 3 of them (or more if you have purchased more) can be ACTIVE at any given time.

 

 

 

 

***IMPORTANT***

In every company you must have at least 1 active user who is designated as an Administrator and 1 active user who is designated as an Accounting User (it can be the same person).  When you registered your company with Hermetech and created your initial user account, that user was automatically configured to be both the Administrator and the Accounting User for your company.  Companies can also designate more than one person as administrators or accounting users.

 

 

 

User Maintenance Window

 

With only a couple of exceptions this screen is fairly self explanatory, to create a new user click the 'New User' button.  To delete a user click the 'Delete User' button.  If you make changes to a users information the 'Save Changes' button will become activated, click it to save changes.

 

DEPARTMENT: This will be the list of departments configured in your System Settings window. See Departments.

 

 

Security Levels

1.Administrator: If checked this user is an administrator.  Users that are designated as administrators can create/delete/activate/deactivate other users and reset their passwords.
2.Active: If checked this user is Active, they can log on and send and receive mail.
3.Internal Use Only: If checked, this user is invisible in the SPIN World Wide Web Address book EXCEPT to other members of your own company and members in other companies that the user has explicitly sent packages to before and have added him/her to their company/personal address book.
4.Accounting User: If checked this user has the ability to view or pay member service fees online at your web account and will be used as a contact person if HermeTech International has questions or information regarding payment of membership service fees.
